First off let me premise this review by letting you know that these Gunnar “INTERCEPT’s” have not left my face when I’m front of a screen since I received them! I wanted to get the full effect and see how they really interacted with my current gaming style.

Lenses- The lens tint of amber was the first thing that I noticed once I had put the Intercept’s into play.  Being a slightly color blind player to start with, I was worried that there was a chance that the glasses may dampen my ability to distinguish between the different map layouts and in game features but I was pleasantly surprised to find they added to the depth and accentuated definition.  It took just 15 min and I didn’t even realize there was any coloration change.

Frames- The retro look is a great feel with the strong structure but light weight. They fit well against the side of my head and I had no conflicting issues with multiple gaming headsets.  The ends fit snugly behind the ears as to not add another pressure to that area during gameplay. As for the nose fit area, it was designed well to fill on a variety of different human facial structures.  It fit nicely and was not abrasive in any way due to the smooth frame structure.

In Game Experience- Overall the look was a great retro feel to a much needed accessory for anyone that spends any a lot of time in gaming and working on the computer.  The style is great for gaming at home or a professional office environment.  The added relief of stress on the eyes and the added definition to in game situations make these GUNNARS a must have!!!
